Born and raised in Texas, Landon Hill Lanier attended Vanderbilt University and began her career at an estate & fine jewelry store in Atlanta. She received a Masters of Art in the History of Decorative Art and Design from Parsons School of Design in New York City. In 2006, Landon worked with renowned jewelry historian Janet Zapata and published her thesis on Charlton & Co., an early twentieth-century American jewelry firm. A consummate student of jewelry and a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians, Landon lives with her husband in Washington, DC.
